Step by step Application Process

1.       Create Account

·         Once you successfully create account an automatic e-mail with a confirmation activation link will send to your e-mail.

·         Check your mail and click activation link to activate your account.

·         After activating your account the page will redirect to login page.

·         By providing your e-mail and password you can login to our online application system

Please change your Secret Password Question by clicking Change Password menu

2.       Post/Update resume

·         After login e-recruitment system by clicking  Post/Update resume menu you will get following application form

·         After filling all the above information once again you need to go home page by clicking start menu

3.       Apply Through Online

·         You can only apply through Online if you already create your account and fill up all information mentioned in step 1 and 2

·         For apply online go to Current Vacancies and then click view, it will show the circular

·         At the end of the circular you will appear   apply Online Button

·         Click Apply Online, it will show a popup message > Click OK button

·         Give Your e-mail address and Password and click Login button

·         Finally a conformation message will show and also a confirmation mail will send to your e-mail account  

 

Uploading documents

Along with the completed online application form, we require a covering letter, your CV and Write up. Please upload these as attachments via the system.


When uploading documents please note:
File size:

  • a total upload of 10 MB per application
  • individual documents must not exceed 2MB (covering letter and photo) or 3 MB (CV and all other files)

File types:
  • CV, covering letter, write up : only doc, docx, pdf.
  • Photo: only png, gif, jpg
  • We cannot process zip files or any file formats not listed above

Online application form

Allow yourself sufficient time to fill in the online application form and make sure you entry all the option fully. Have all the documents you will need to hand (e.g. current CV, covering letter and Write up). Ensure that you fill in all the mandatory fields. These are marked with a red asterisk (*). We will only be able to see your application once you have submitted it (by clicking ‘Apply Online’). Only then will it be included in the selection process for the vacancy in question. Submitting your application Once you have submitted an application, you make any changes through you’re applicant login. Please note that attachments cannot be modified once submitted.

Confirmation of receipt

Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email confirming receipt. This message is generated automatically and should arrive within a few minutes. This confirms that your application has been received by our application management system. If the email is not in your inbox, please check your spam folder. If there is no email from GIZ Bangladesh there either, double-check that you submitted the application (by clicking ‘Submit’) That will show message “You already applied for the post ”. Vacancies We only advertise vacancies on the website that we have not yet filled. The current circular pages are therefore always up to date. Please ensure that you check the deadlines for applications.

Q. How can I be sure that my CV has been successfully submitted at the GIZ Bangladesh e-Recruitment System?

If your CV has been submitted correctly, you will be given a confirmation message in green color at the top of your applied page mentioned “Your application has been submitted successfully”. You will also receive an e-mail from e-recruitment system.

Q. Can I apply for more than one job at the same time?

Yes

Q. Do I have to submit a fresh CV for every job I apply?

No. You need to submit your CV only once. Afterwards, keep updating your CV using your user name and Password.

Q. Do I need to contact/apply through e-mail after submitting my CV online?

No, you do not need to send your CV by e-mail once you have filled up and submitted the online application form.

Q. I don't have an e-mail address right now. How can I be contacted if my qualifications match with your requirements?

Getting an e-mail address is very easy these days. We suggest you create one e-mail address of your own. This increases your chance of getting notified of your application information on time. For each of the selection stages, you will get e-mails regarding the status. In case you miss a phone call /SMS from us, you definitely can get the right information from the mail. However, you can use your friend's/relative's e-mail account in case you don't have any. Make sure a valid contact number (phone number) is there.

Q. If I don't qualify in the selection test for one position, can I apply for another position? Will I be called for that?

Yes you can.
Every job is different from the other and the requirements also vary. Your qualification might be perfect for one job despite the same being unsuitable for another.

Q. Can I update my already posted CV or withdraw my application?

Yes, you can update your CV by using the username and the Password you provide at the time of your CV submission. But you cannot delete or withdraw your CV.

Q. How I attach my CV, Cover letter, and write-up to e-recruitment Systems?

Under Attachment tab you can upload all above documents. Please read Application procedure at the home page before uploading any attachment .

Q. Do I need to contact/apply through e-mail after submitting my resume online?

No, we don't receive hardcopy CVs for any vacancy. If you want to apply for any job at GIZ Bangladesh it has to be online.
