Data Protection Declaration for E-Recruiting

1. Recording, processing and use of data

Protecting personal data is a matter we take seriously. The personal data you make available to us will be processed and used in accordance with the applicable legal regulations for the protection of personal data and for data security. The personal data you provide us with as part of your application will be stored on the GIZ Bangladesh rent servers and then used by us. The data will be used solely for the purposes of processing your application(s) and initiating employment. GIZ ensures that the data is secure by means of appropriate technical and organizational measures against unintentional or intentional falsification, destruction, loss or access by unauthorized persons. Access to your personal data is limited to the staff of the human resources sections and the HR divisions, who need to process the data for the aforementioned purposes. These are obliged to deal with the information you provide in a proper and confidential manner. The data will be exclusively used for the purposes stipulated herein; any other use will be dependent on your renewed consent at all times. Access to your data is password-protected. You yourself are responsible for the content of the information that you publish and make available to us.

2. You send your online application to GIZ Bangladesh By giving your consent to the storage and processing of your application data, you also give your consent to these data being used by the persons involved in the selection procedure. You also agree that your data may be forwarded to external advisors who are supporting GIZ in the selection procedure. Your data will not be forwarded to other third parties.

3. Publication – responsibility for content of material posted

The posting of material with indecent or inappropriate content, in particular pornographic, political and/or religious material, is prohibited. We do not accept any responsibility for contravention of this rule.

4. Consent

Your consent is necessary for us to use your application and your personal data for recruitment purposes. You give your consent before accessing our online application portal New Registration. Please note that you can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. Your consent is recorded in our data processing protocol. You are free to revoke at any time your consent for the future use of your data by sending an email message to it-bangladesh@giz.de

5. Linked pages

Please also note that the data protection regulations applicable to linked pages may differ from our data protection standards. For this reason, you are advised to read the data protection regulations applicable to the linked pages and ensure that you comply with them.

6. Advertising

We accept no responsibility for any unsolicited email such as advertising (‘spam’) that you may receive.

7. Updates to this Data Protection Declaration

This Data Protection Declaration will be updated and adapted to take account of changes to the legal data protection information in our portal or developments in Internet and IT security technology. We reserve the right to make amendments or additions to the Declaration as appropriate.

8. Additional notes

Please also note that in many companies, address data are very important commercially and are not always used for purposes associated with our portal. We accept no responsibility for any such misuse of our portal. We do, of course, endeavor to keep our information free of any libelous content that may be posted by users; however, it may not be possible to do so at all time.
